SPRINGFIELD - The Missouri State men's soccer team will begin exhibition play at home tonight (Friday, Aug. 14) at Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium when they take on the Missouri Valley College Vikings at 8 p.m. Admission to the game is free for all fans.

"We're excited to be at practice, and we're getting better as a team each day," said head coach Jon Leamy. "I can see the enthusiasm, and the guys are really starting to work well together."

The defending MVC regular season champions will continue preseason exhibition play with two matches in Oklahoma next week. Sunday, MSU travels to Northeastern State University at 5 p.m., before concluding the preseason schedule on Aug. 21 at Tulsa, also at 5 p.m.
