Pre-Championship Poll: MVC Release

Weekly Notes:

• Missouri State has been picked fourth in the conference's pre-championship poll.
• Missouri State continues to be successful in the relays. The MSU 4x400m relay team leads the Missouri Valley Conference and is 41st in the NCAA DI West Region, with a time of 3:41.07. The 4x100m relay team is second in the MVC, 21st in the NCAA DI West Region, and 59th nationally with a mark of 45.07.
• This season, six Bears have top-five times, distances, or scores in the conference:
• • Marissa Kurtimah is fourth in the 100m dash with her 11.59 at the John McDonnell Invitational
  • Shavonne Husbands is fifth in the 200m dash with her 24.18 at the Arkansas Twilight.
  • Shani Adams is second in the 400m dash with her 55.39 at the Arkansas Twilight.
  • Oarabile Babolayi is third in the 400m hurdles with her 59.39 at the Drake Relays.
  • Shani Adams is fourth in the 400m hurdles with her 59.74 at the Drake Relays.
  • Robiann Broomfield is fifth in the long jump with her 5.78m at the John Jacobs Invitational.
  • Robiann Broomfield is also first in the triple jump with her 12.68m at the John Jacobs Invitational.
