SPRINGFIELD - Missouri State women's track and field opens the outdoor season Thursday in the steeplechase at the Wash U Distance Carnival in St. Louis, Mo., before the full squad competes Saturday at the SBU Bearcat Invitational in Bolivar, Mo.

Keeping Track of the Bears
• Missouri State opens the outdoor season after a 10th-place finish at the Conference USA Indoor Championships, highlighted by multiple all-time marks, personal records and top-five finishes.
• Olivia Rogers led the way on the track at the conference meet, placing third in the 60-meter dash in a personal-best 7.44 that moved her to No. 4 all-time in program history. Claire Farrell added a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter dash in a personal-best 55.19, the ninth-fastest mark in school history.
• Ella Cronhardt posted a sixth-place finish in the mile at the conference championships, clocking a personal-best 4:50.52 to move to No. 2 all-time at Missouri State. Abby Meyer also turned in a personal-best 2:12.85 in the 800-meter run, moving to No. 8 in program history.
• Missouri State also scored in the relays at the Conference USA meet, finishing third in the distance medley relay with Mary Margaret Harris, Claire Farrell, BreAna Garrett and Ella Cronhardt combining for the sixth-fastest time in school history at 11:45.03. The 4x400-meter relay team of Whitney Farrington, Raegan Foster, Farrell and Garrett placed fourth in 3:43.72, good for No. 7 all-time.
• In the field events, Shiloh Cross recorded a sixth-place finish in the triple jump with a personal-best 12.35 meters to move to No. 9 in program history, while Kayleigh Jenkins placed seventh in the high jump. Cheria Galbreath also posted a personal-best 8.88 in the 60-meter hurdles prelims, tying for 10th all-time at Missouri State.
