SPRINGFIELD - Missouri State head coach Jordan Fife announced the Bears' 2026 outdoor track and field schedule Monday, revealing a nine-meet slate that includes competitions across Missouri, Arkansas and Texas as the program prepares for its first outdoor season in Conference USA.

The outdoor season begins March 26-27 at the Wash U Distance Carnival in St. Louis. Missouri State will also send competitors to the SBU Bearcat Invitational March 26-28 in Bolivar, Mo., marking the first full weekend of outdoor competition.

Missouri State returns to action April 9-10 at the UCM Mule Relays hosted by Central Missouri in Warrensburg. The following day, the Bears travel to Fayetteville, Ark., to compete in the Arkansas Spring Invitational on April 11.

The Bears will host their lone home meet of the season April 17 with the Missouri State Invitational in Springfield. The meet marks Missouri State's only opportunity to compete at home during the outdoor campaign.

Missouri State returns to Fayetteville on April 24 for the John McDonnell Invitational before traveling to Dallas, Texas, for the SMU Invitational on May 1-2.
The Bears make one final stop in Fayetteville for the Arkansas Twilight on May 8, serving as the program's final tune up ahead of the postseason.

Missouri State will then compete in the Conference USA Outdoor Championships May 14-16, hosted by Middle Tennessee State in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Athletes who rank among the top 48 in the NCAA West Region in their respective events will qualify for the NCAA West Preliminary Round on May 27–30 in Fayetteville. Competitors will look to advance through the regional meet to earn a spot at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on June 10–13 in Eugene, Ore.
