Weekly Notes:

  • Missouri State will compete in the final meet prior to the Missouri Valley Conference Championships scheduled for May 15-17, 2015, in Bloomington, Ill.
  • This trip will mark the third trip that the Bears will make to Fayetteville this outdoor season, after previously competing in the Arkansas Spring Invitational in March and the John McDonald Invitational in April.
  • The last time that the Bears competed at the University of Arkansas, several season bests were recorded by sprinters. The John McDonnell Invitational featured 2015 best times for Shani Adams (400m), Chelsey Borders (100m, 200m), Rachel Campbell (200m), Kadisha Francois (200m, 400m), Shavonne Husbands (100m, 200m), Marissa Kurtimah (100m, 200m), Althia Maximilien (100m, 200m), Merica Moncherry (100m, 200m), Holly Pattie-Belleli (200m), Rosalie Pringle (400m), and Erin Roebuck (400m).
  • The Bears hold the conference's top times in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. The 3:41.07 in the 4x400m relay was set in Fayetteville at the John McDonnell Invitational.
  • The highest nationally ranked Bear is jumper Robiann Broomfield. In addition to leading the Missouri Valley Conference with a 12.68m mark, the junior is 32nd in the nation.
  • Last week at the Drake Relays, Holly Pattie-Belleli competed in her first heptathlon of the season. The junior recorded a career-high 4985 points and moved into second in the MVC in the event.
