Missouri State returns to the JQH Arena floor Tuesday at 7 p.m. when the Lady Bears (0-1) take on MidAmerica Nazarene (1-0).
MSU will play six games over a 12-day stretch to close November, as the Lady Bears travel to Ole Miss on Nov. 19, host Oklahoma State on Nov. 23, and head to Southwest Florida for three games at the Gulf Coast Showcase Nov. 27-29. Tuesday's game with MNU officially counts as an opening game for that event, though MNU is not participating the Florida portion.
Head Coach Kellie Harper will take another shot at her 200th career win Tuesday, as she enters the game with a 199-162 career record.

Series Histories
Missouri State and MidAmerica Nazarene have never played in women's basketball.
Missouri State and Ole Miss have been one time, a memorable MSU victory in the 1992 Elite Eight. The Lady Bears beat the Rebels 94-71 in Boulder, Colo., to advance to the first of the school's two Final Four appearances.

Scouting MidAmerica Nazarene
MidAmerica Nazarene is a perennial power at the NAIA level, going to four straight national tournaments and posting a 75-7 record in the Heart of America Athletic Conference over the last four seasons. The Pioneers are 1-0 this season entering a Nov. 16 game with Culver-Stockton, and are led by All-America guard Megan Balcom, who averaged 10.7 points and 3.9 assists last season.
The Pioneers defeated Ottawa by an 81-61 final on Nov. 3, placing four scorers in double figures and limiting the opposition to 32.8 percent shooting from the field. MNU held a 51-37 rebounding edge in that game.

Scouting Ole Miss
Ole Miss is picked to finish seventh in the SEC after going 19-14 last season and advancing to the third round of the WNIT. The Rebels are off to a 1-1 start this season with a 97-61 victory over Mississippi Valley State and an 82-78 loss to Louisiana.
Four Rebels have averaged double figures through two games, led by Shandrick Sessom at 18 points per game. Bretta Hart averages 13 rebounds, and Ole Miss shoots 38.9 percent as a team compared to 37.1 percent for the opposition while forcing 26 turnovers per game.
