Meet Notes

• · Missouri State won two events in the season opening meet at Arkansas. Shani Adams, Althia Maximilien, Oarabile Babolayi, and Rosalie Pringle led the Bears to a victory in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:45.20. MSU claimed the top two spots in the 600 meter finals. Shani Adams won the event in 1:33.80, with Rosalie Pringle finishing in second at 1:34.26.
• · Three Bears set new personal bests at the Arkansas Invitational. Oarabile Babolayi (8.80), and Holly Pattie-Belleli (9.11) each posted their collegiate bests in the 60 meter hurdles, and Erin Roebuck set a career best time of 58.10 to finish fifth in the 400 meter dash.
• · Host Missouri was ranked as a preseason top-25 team in the opening USTFCCCA NCAA Division I National Team Computer Rankings.
• · Junior Robiann Broomfield has been named Missouri Valley Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the second time in her career. Full release is included below.
