Missouri State's Will Hogan has been named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week after winning the second tournament of his collegiate career Tuesday (Mar. 27). Hogan claimed medalist honors at the UALR/First Tee Intercollegiate by shooting 74-68-74--216, even par at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock, Ark.

The senior from Ozark, Mo., entered the final round in a three-way tie for the lead, but edged out Mitchell McLeroy of Stephen F. Austin by a stroke and Philipp Westermann of Southeastern Louisiana by two shots. He previously had won the SIUE Intercollegiate in October 2010 as a junior.

Hogan, who earned an NCAA Regional bid a year ago, is currently ranked eighth in the Valley with a 74.63 scoring average.
