Missouri State Women Finish 11th at UALR Classic

The Missouri State women's golf team shot 309 in Tuesday's (Mar. 30) final round of the UALR Classic at Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs, Ark., and placed 11th of 18 teams in the field.  The Bears couldn't recover from Monday's opening 321, their worst round of the season, and posted 321-300-309---930 for the tournament.

Individually, senior Stacey Rodger was tops for the Bears after posting 80-72-81--233 to tie for 37th, one better than teammate Hermine Greyling, who tied for 41st with 83-75-76--234.  Kelsey Welber and Heather Smith tied for 48th with 235 totals; Welber shot 80-79-76 while Smith had 83-74-78.  Sophomore Emily Potts shot 78-80-79--237 and tied for 53rd.  ORU's Crystal Reeves fired 73-69-71--213 to win medalist honors by five shots over Western Michigan's Britney Hamilton.
