Kiser Pannier shot an even-par 71 on Monday (Apr. 6) to lead the way for the Missouri State women's golf team at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge at Caledonia Golf and Fish Club. The senior from Sedalia, Mo. posted a steady round, shooting even on both nines, and is tied for ninth in the individual standings after the first day.
The Bears also are tied for ninth as a team in the 19-team field after posting 301 on a blustery day. Charleston Southern grabbed the early team lead with a 288, with Middle Tennessee a shot back and Coastal Carolina in third place, three strokes back.

Coyee Zhang backed up Pannier for MoState with a 73, placing her in a tie for 16th place. Freshman
Chloe Bolte carded a 77 for the Bears while juniors
Tierney Baumstark and
Kyleigh Pfitzner shot 80 and 81, respectively.
Second-round play begins at 7:35 a.m. local time on Tuesday.
