Todd Laney, who played on the Missouri State men’s golf team from 2004-06, fired a two-under 68 at Greene Hills Country Club in Willard Monday to earn a spot in Nationwide Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship held at Highland Springs Country Club in Springfield July 19-22.

Laney was one of two players to earn an exemption out of a 37-player field yesterday.

The Billings, Mo., native was second on the MSU squad with a 74.9 scoring average as a senior during the 2005-06 school year, including a school-record 65 in the final round of the Fairway Club Invitational.
