FINAL RESULTS
MADISON, Ill. -- Missouri State's
Owen Swearingen rallied with a third-round 69 on Tuesday to finish tied for 18th at the Dolenc Invitational, hosted by SIUE.
Swearingen (72-69-69--215) led Missouri State's contingent at the event with his two-over-par score at the 54-hole event held at Gateway National Golf Links.
The Bears also got a good final round from
Christian Rischer who carded a one-under 70 on the final 18 holes to finish 38th (71-73-70--214).
Missouri State 295-292-287--874) tied for 15th in the field of 19 teams with Idaho's 821 team score ensuring the Vandals of the overall team title.
The Bears travel to the Turtle Pointe Invitational in Killen, Ala.., Oct. 13-14, before wrapping the fall portion of their schedule at home, Oct. 27-28 for the Missouri State Intercollegiate at Millwood.
