Missouri State's Michael Breshears placed sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the Bears' track and field teams at Saturday's conclusion of the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa. The MSU junior finished the race with a season best time of 9:14.56.

The Missouri State track and field teams will take two weeks off from competition to prepare for the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships, Friday through Sunday, May 12-14, in Wichita, Kan.
