This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State baseball's Taeg Gollert. He set Missouri State’s career record for doubles on Friday and helped the Bears set the program record for consecutive home wins as part of another series victory. He reached safely six times in Friday’s game against Western Kentucky, breaking the career doubles mark in the sixth inning and hitting additional two-baggers in the seventh and eighth frames to tie his own single-game school record and push his career total to 70. Then on Saturday, the Toronto native hit a three-run homer to become the first player in program history with 40 RBIs in four consecutive seasons as the Bears won their 17^th consecutive home game.
