In another stellar week, junior outfielder Erika Velasquez Zimmer (Coppell, Texas) batted a team-best .444 in five games for the week, collecting eight hits and nine total bases. Her efforts helped the Bears to a pair of non-conference road wins with two RBI at UCA and then a 4-for-4 performance in Missouri State's win at Oklahoma State. She extended her career-best hitting streak to 13 games during the week and also accounted for seven putouts with an assist from her centerfield post.
