This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State volleyball's Iva Halacheva. Halacheva hit .392 while averaging 4.5 kills per set for the Bears, adding five digs and three blocks in two matches for 37.5 total points. Saturday against UIC, Halacheva became the first MSU player since Lily Johnson with 25 kills on .400 hitting, finishing the match against the Flames with a career-best 25 kills on a .422 efficiency. In Friday’s sweep of Valparaiso, Halacheva hit .345 with 11 kills and one error.
