This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State women's basketball's Kaemyn Bekemeier. Bekemeier led the Lady Bears across a 2-0 week by averaging 28.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game, while shooting .548 (17-31) from the field and going 20-for-27 (.741) at the charity stripe. In Thursday night's win over Kennewsaw State, Bekemeier posted a then-career-high 26 points (6-15 FG, 13-16 FT) and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds. She followed that up with another career performance in Saturday's win over Jacksonville State, posting her first-career 30-point outing with 31 points on an efficient 11-for-16 shooting from the field (2-4 3FG, 7-11 FT). She also matched her career best with a game-high 14 rebounds.
