This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State women's soccer's Kaeli Benedict (So., M, Bridgton, Mo.). Benedict was named MVP of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament after racking up four points in two games. Benedict was responsible for the Bears’ game-winning score in the semifinals against UNI and also assisted on the first goal of the match. Additionally, she notched another assist on Hailey Chambliss’ game-winning goal in the finals versus Murray State, securing MoState's first NCAA Tournament berth since 2017.
