Junior Anna Miller played an instrumental role in the Bears’ MVC Championship title effort, totaling three individual gold medals and three top relay times to boost MSU to a 826.50 team score and the program’s fourth-straight title. The St. Louis, Mo. native placed first in the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 butterfly, surpassing MSU’s Amber Green’s 2011 championship record in the 50 free. She also helped guide the Bears’ sweep of the 200, 400, and 800 freestyle relays, breaking yet another MVC record in the 800 freestyle. Her stellar swims landed her on the MVC’s first-team all-conference list for the third-consecutive year.
