Missouri State

Background: Thompson played her first two seasons of prep soccer at Oakville High for head coach Dave Robben before completing her high school career her senior year at Parkway South High for head coach Al Trost. She started all three seasons that she played, missing her junior season with injury. As a senior, she earned first-team All-Suburban Conference honors and was bestowed the Best Defensive Player Award. Her sophomore season at OHS, she helped the Tigers to a district title. Thompson was an honorable mention all-conference player her freshman campaign and led OHS to the district final. She also earned the Rookie Award that season. She was a member of the Missouri State Cup winning team twice, including her freshman year (2011). Thompson played three seasons of basketball in high school as well.

Personal: Thompson is the daughter of Ron and Michelle Thompson and was born April 24, 1997. She plans to be a pre-health profession major at MSU.
