2014: Stewart played in all 19 matches with 11 starts in 2014. She was on the pitch for more than 1,000 minutes for the second-consecutive season (1,063). Stewart had a season-high three shots in just 37 minutes of action against Arkansas State (9/7). She played all 90 minutes versus UALR (9/19), against Nebraska-Omaha (9/25) and at #16 Kansas (10/5). She recorded one of her two shots on goal in the MVC Tournament opening round match at UNI (11/2).
2013: Stewart was an asset in the midfield for MSU playing all 19 matches with 14 starting assignments. She saw 1,451 minutes of action on the pitch, the most among mids. Stewart assisted on the game-winning goal against UMKC (9/17). She had nine shots on the year, five on frame, for the second-best shot on goal percentage of .556. She recorded a season-high three shots at Loyola (10/5).
2012: Stewart made an immediate impact, scoring in the sixth minute of her first match with the Bears, the eventual game-winning tally against UALR (8/17). Later in the match, she assisted on Rachel Weimer's goal. She appeared in all 18 matches and started seven times. Stewart tallied seven shots on the season and four were on goal.
Background: Stewart lettered all four seasons for head coach Ed Dudley's Marian Crusaders. She won a Nebraska state title her senior year at MHS and was a second-team all-state honoree. She was a team captain and earned second-team all-metro accolades after her squad's metro title. She led her team to the district title in each of her first three seasons at Marian High. She was an all-state honorable mention honoree for the state quarterfinalists as a junior. Her sophomore season, she led the Crusaders to a state title and a 17-3 record overall. As a freshman, she helped her team reach the state semifinals. Stewart led her club team, Toro Bravo, to the Nebraska State Cup Championship for four straight seasons. In her five seasons with Toro Bravo, the team has racked up 118 victories.
Personal: Stewart is the daughter of Jay and Tina Stewart and was born January 6, 1994. Her cousin, Danielle Koch Finley, was a swimmer at Missouri State in the early 2000's. She is majoring in exercise and movement science at MSU.
