Biography

At Missouri State: Smith will provide competition in net as she transitions to Division-I soccer.

Background: Smith started all four seasons for head coach Andrew Lang at Mountain Ridge High. She set a school record by making 152 saves her senior season. She also capped her MRH career as the all-time leader in saves (341), career GAA (0.882), career save percentage (0.886), wins (28) and games started (43). She led the Mountain Lions to back-to-back regional titles her junior and sophomore seasons. She was an all-region and all-state selection as a junior after posting seven clean sheets. Smith also had seven shutouts with a 0.63 goals against average as a sophomore. She went undefeated her freshman campaign (3-0-1) with two shutouts. Smith was her club team[apos]s captain the last three years and led them to the Arizona President Cup State championship as a junior. In the last three seasons, she has registered 30 clean sheets for her club team.

Personal: Smith is the daughter of Donald and Naomi Smith and was born June 22, 1994. She has not decided on a major at Missouri State.
