2017 Cross Country
Ran in four competitions for MSU… Marked a 16:08.7 4K at the J.K. Gold Classic (Sept. 2)… Ran a 20.43.18 5K at the Southern Stampede (Sept. 16)… Running her fastest 5K of the season at the Chile Pepper Festival Fallis ran a 20:26.9 race… Finished her season at the Bradley Pink Classic (Oct. 13) where she ran a 25:26.8 race.

2016 Cross Country
Did not compete for the Bears.

Background: Joins the Bears after competing one season at Northern Illinois, helping the DMR obtain all-conference recognition during the indoor season... Was a four-year letterwinner at Moberly High... Broke the 800-meter school record her sophomore season... Was a three-time conference champion, two-time district and sectional champion in the 800-meter run. Studies Exercise and Movement Science at Missouri State. 

Personal: Kayla Marie Fallis is the daughter of Jonathan and Heather Fallis and was born on Oct. 21 in Des Moines, Iowa... Has one sister, Jordan... Father Jonathan was a member of the Coe College swim team for a season... Plans to study kinesiology while attending MSU.
