2017 Cross Country
Posted times in three events for the Bears during the season… Ran a 17:50.0 at the J.K. Classic 4K race… Recorded a 22:11.37 5K at the Southern Stampede (Sept. 16)… Competed at the Bradley Pink Classic (Oct. 13) where she ran a 28:45.0 time.

Background: A three-year letterman with the Hernando High Tigers cross country team and a four-year letterman with the HHS Track team... Holds school records in the 5K (20.54), 800-meter run (2:38) and the 1600-meter run (5:49)... Selected as captain for each of three seasons with the track team and twice served as captain for the track team... Led the cross country team to a Desoto County title and collected an individual title her junior year with a 5K time of 20:54... Also a three-year letterman in the power lifting and in gymnastics.
