2018: MVC All-Conference Honorable Mention and MVC All-Tournament Team.
2017: Saw action in 11 games for the Bears… Added two assists for MSU… His first assist of the season came against Tulsa (Sept.2) when he aided Harry Lewis for the first goal of the season for the Bears… Attempted six shots with two on goal… Was a major force for the Bears in the midfield during the second half of the season.
2016: Played in all but one game for the Bears in 2016… Tied for second on the team in goals (3), including two during the 2016 MVC Men’s Soccer Championship… Finished fourth on the team in shots taken (23), registering 11 on the goal… Tied for first on the team in assists (3), including two assists in the season opener 2-0 victory against Green Bay (Aug. 26)… Earned a spot on the 2016 all-tournament team.
2015: Made appearances in all 17 matches for the Bears, earning the start 13 times in his freshman campaign… Recorded a team-high 29 shots… Led the team in goals (3) including two goals, and the game-winner, at the New Mexico Tournament against No. 18 Loyola Marymount (Sept. 20) to give the Bears the 2-1 victory… Earned MVC Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 21) after his performance at the N.M. Tournament… Named to the MVC All-Freshman squad.
Background: Buckle can play the wing or as an attacker and has experience playing in a F.A. Youth Cup at storied Old Trafford vs. Man United. Buckle won his league at Tadcaster Grammar, while also playing in the Hull City youth academy.
