2017: Started 15 of 17 games for the Bears… Scored MSU’s first goal of the season against Tulsa (Sept. 2) to help the Bears take the game 2-0… Earned five points throughout the season off of two goals and one assist… Attempted 37 shots with 17 on goal.
2016: Made appearances in all 20 matches for the Bears in 2016… Scored his first collegiate goal in MSU’s 3-0 shutout victory over Eastern Illinois (Oct. 5)… Eighth on the team in shots taken (11) and second among sophomores… Logged a season-high 72 minutes in the first of three meeting with the Central Arkansas Bears (Oct. 8).
2015: Made appearances in all 17 matches for the Bears as a true freshman… Earned the start in six matches, including key wins against No. 18 Loyola Marymount (Sept. 20), Evansville (Oct. 24), and Loyola (Nov. 11) in the first round of the MVC Tournament… Played a season-high 71 minutes for the Bears at Oral Roberts (Nov. 2)… Led all freshmen in assists (3)… Tallied key assists in the 2-1 win over No. 18 Loyola Marymount (Sept. 20), the 2-2 draw at Nebraska Omaha (Oct. 28), and to the game-winning goal against Central Arkansas (Nov. 7).
Background: At the age of 16, Lewis was invited to join the Academy at English Premiership side Aston Villa, where he has had the opportunity to learn under top coaching in England.
