Made 10 appearances during his junior season, all in relief, finishing with 16 strikeouts and a .195 opponent average with a 5.56 ERA in 11.1 innings...Struck out multiple batters on seven occasions, with more punch-outs than innings pitched in six outings...Did not allow a hit until his fifth appearance of the season with six hitless games in all...Earned the win in his only decision of the season at Evansville (April 18)...Fanned a season-high three hitters in 1.1 innings at Central Arkansas (March 7).

2020 (Sophomore)
Pitched in one game as a sophomore, going two-thirds of an inning with two strikeouts on Feb. 28 at Rice.

2019 (Freshman)
Thomazin gave the Bears’ bullpen a consistent presence in his rookie season, limiting the opposition to one run or less in seven of his nine relief outings ... For the season, the right-hander logged a 4.96 earned run average out of the bullpen; also made four starts, registering 18 strikeouts in 16.0 total innings ... Made his MSU debut Feb. 17 at Texas State, holding the Bobcats to a single run on two hits over 3.1 innings ... Fanned five batters and permitted just one run in 2 2/3 frames vs. Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 22) ... Struck out 11 hitters, matching a season high for a Missouri State hurler, in his first collegiate start vs. Central Arkansas (Feb. 27); allowed just one unearned run on one hit over 7.0 innings to earn his first win as a Bear ... Following starts against non-conference foes Arkansas State (March 10), Oklahoma (March 16) and UC Santa Barbara (March 22), returned to the bullpen at the end of March; allowed two runs or fewer in each of his final seven appearances of the season (March 27-April 27) ... Turned in a hitless inning vs. Indiana State (March 31), then worked 1 2/3 innings of the Bears’ road win over Murray State (April 3) ... Worked 4.0 shutout innings vs. New Orleans (April 20), giving up just one hit and a pair of walks ... Pitched for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots of the Alaska Baseball League over the summer.

Completed his prep career at Walnut Grove High School as one of southwest Missouri’s most highly-decorated athletes, having earned all-state honors in each of his four years as a Tiger...Went 8-1 with a 0.49 ERA and 116 strikeouts in 57 innings, while hitting .556 with seven home runs as an infielder as a senior, leading Walnut Grove to a Class 1 fourth-place finish...Earned first-team all-state, all-district honors, as well as his second-straight Polk County League MVP citation...Batted .462 with 19 steals, while fanning 46 hitters and posting a 1.69 ERA in 29 innings of work in 2017...Named Perfect Game’s fifth overall right-handed pitching prospect in last year’s Missouri class of recruits...Also excelled on the hardwood for Walnut Grove, shattering the Tigers’ career scoring record in less than three prep seasons and finishing in the top 10 in career scoring in Missouri history.
