First-team all-MVC selection at designated hitter as a sixth-year senior...Led MVC with a .431 batting average in conference games...Batted .545 (18-for-33) during a career-long 10-game hit streak from April 8-28...Went 3-for-3 as a pinch hitter, including the Bears’ first pinch-hit homer since 2019 on April 2 at Illinois State...Earned the Dr. Charlotte West Award from the MVC for academic achievement, athletics excellence and service and leadership...Batted .305 with six home runs and 22 RBI in 45 games in his final year...Concluded career with a .299 batting average, 14 homers, 71 RBI, 10 stolen bases and 72 runs scored in 127 games over three seasons.

Batted .309 to rank second on the team and started 36 games for the Bears - 27 in left field, six in center and three at DH...Reached safely in 17 consecutive games from March 23-May 5, the second-longest streak for an MSU player on the season...Drove in 16 runs and finished second on the squad with nine stolen bases and 42 hits...Scored 19 runs with a high of three against Drury (April 6)...Debuted by going 5-for-8 with five RBI in the Feb. 23-24 series at Oral Roberts...Tied for the team lead with 12 multi-hit games, including a team-best four three-hit outings - at Oral Roberts (Feb. 23), at No. 18 Oklahoma State (March 23), at Evansville (April 17) and versus Valparaiso (May 20)...Drove in two runs and stole two bases in the MVC Tournament against Valpo (May 25)...Drew 17 walks to rank third on the team.

Background
Spent three seasons at Madison (Wis.) College in his hometown, earning first-team all-conference honors as a freshman after hitting .361 with 47 RBIs, 26 runs scored and six stolen bases ... Finished his junior college career with a .328 batting average and 52 runs scored in 60 games after an injury redshirt in 2019 and the shortened 2020 campaign ... Four-time all-city and three-time all-conference selection in high school ... Also played football, basketball and volleyball at Madison East High.

Personal
Cameron Cratic is the son of Tyrone and Therese Cratic...Born Aug. 13, 1999, in Madison, Wis....Father Tyrone wrestled at Tarkio College, brother Tyrone ran track at Edgewood College, and cousin Daurice Fountain played football at Northern Iowa and was chosen by the Indianapolis Colts in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL draft...Received his undergraduate degree in sociology in May 2022 and is in the sports management Master’s program.
