Had a stellar junior season in which he ranked among the top eight in the MVC in RBI (first - 70), home runs (second - 19), slugging (third - .647), on-base percentage (third - .448), total bases (third - 150), runs (fourth - 58), hits (fourth - 79), walks (fifth - 37) and average (eighth - .341)...2022 RBI total ranked seventh for a season at Missouri State...Reached safely in 57 of 60 games, including 30 straight from March 13-May 6...Started all 60 games, 53 at catcher and seven at DH...MSU’s A.E. “Ted” Willis MVP...Ended career as the school’s all-time leader with a .994 fielding percentage...ABCA All-South Region First Team and all-MVC Second Team...Earned the MVC’s Elite 17 Award for the highest GPA in the league championship game...MVC All-Tournament pick after hitting .400 with two homers and eight RBI in the event...Led the team with 26 multi-hit games and 17 with multiple RBI...Became the highest-drafted catcher in school history after the season, going in the third round (96th overall) to Atlanta and signing with the Braves shortly thereafter.

Earned second-team all-MVC honors after hitting .291 with four homers and 23 RBI...Started 28 games behind the plate and 13 as the Bears’ designated hitter...Hit safely in 21 consecutive games from April 3-May 20, tying the sixth-longest streak in school history...Batted .351 (27-for-77) during the streak...Named MSU’s Danny Cook Rookie of the Year as the award was extended to players who were freshmen during the shortened 2020 campaign...Tied a school record after being hit by three Valpo pitches on May 21...Hit a grand slam and drove in six runs at Central Arkansas (March 7) for MSU’s first six-RBI game since 2018...Hit a walk-off home run against Drury on April 6...Tied for the team lead with 12 multi-hit games, and drove in multiple runs on six occasions...Ranked second on the team in slugging (.446) and on-base percentage (.411)...Scored 18 runs on the year...Tied for second on the team with 13 extra-base hits...Owned a .996 fielding percentage with one error in 230 chances, and was perfect in 166 fielding opportunities in league play.

West High Regents, Baldwin rated as the No. 4 overall 2019 recruit in Wisconsin and the No. 2 catching prospect in the state, according to Prep Baseball Report...Hit .324 for West as a senior...A standout on the ice as well, Baldwin was the state of Wisconsin’s leading goal-scorer with 43 as a junior...Named a first-team all-state forward for the second time, as well as a finalist for the Wisconsin Hockey Coaches Association Player of the Year honor as a senior.
