• Missouri State Acrobatics & Tumbling returns to action Saturday, April 4, traveling to Sioux Falls, S.D., to face No. 6 Augustana.
• Sunday's dual marks the second meeting this season between the two programs after Augustana posted a 265.482-245.130 victory in Springfield earlier this year.
• Missouri State enters the weekend coming off a record-breaking performance at No. 10 Azusa Pacific, where the program posted a new team high with a 247.855 final score.
• The 247.855 total topped the previous program record and continued the upward trend for the second-year squad heading into another ranked road matchup.
• Against Azusa Pacific, Missouri State turned in a strong compulsory total of 35.600, highlighted by a 9.700 in pyramid and a 9.750 in toss.
• Pyramid remained one of the program's top events in California, as the lineup scored a 29.200 behind a 9.900 in the open heat.
• Tumbling also delivered one of the team's best event totals of the night at 51.475, paced by a 9.425 in the aerial pass and a 9.475 in the six-element pass.
• Missouri State closed the meet with a 79.980 in the team event and scored 157.855 points in the second half overall, both signs of the program's continued progress late in the season.
• Sunday presents another opportunity against one of NCATA's top teams and gives Missouri State a rematch against a familiar opponent as the regular season winds down.
• Augustana enters the weekend ranked No. 6 nationally, providing another measuring-stick meet for a Missouri State squad that has continued to raise its scoring ceiling.
