Brant Kragel is the program's first ever Conference USA Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Kragel batted .625 with a home run, two doubles and eight RBIs in the Bears' home sweep of Middle Tennessee over the weekend, helping Mo State improve to 15-7 overall, 5-1 in CUSA play and 10-0 at Hammons Field. Kragel slugged 1.250 and scored four runs while playing error-free in two starts at first base during the series.

Friday, the Castle Rock, Colo., native began the series with the game-winning pinch-hit double in the eighth inning, driving in two runs for a 5-4 lead in the eventual 6-4 victory.

Saturday, he went 2-for-3 with a home run and a career-high three RBIs, then went 2-for-4 with three more RBIs on Sunday, hitting a two-run double in the fifth inning to pull Mo State to 8-7, and tying the game at 8-8 with an RBI single in the seventh.
