Keeping Track of the Bears
• Missouri State women's track and field continues its 2025-26 indoor season Saturday, traveling to Fayetteville, Ark., to compete in the Woo Pig Classic hosted by the University of Arkansas.
• The Bears enter the weekend following a productive split-squad showing at the Washburn Open & Multis and Pittsburg State Invitational.
• Missouri State's sprint group remains a key strength heading into Fayetteville, led by Olivia Rogers' pair of third-place finishes in the 60- (7.55) and 200-meter dashes (24.88). The Bears showcased impressive depth in the short sprints, placing 10 athletes inside the top 26 of the 60 meters and seven inside the top 18 of the 200.
• In the 400 meters, Claire Farrell continued her consistent indoor campaign with a third-place finish (55.59), while Jordyn Buckley and Delaney Weimer each turned in top-five performances in the 200 meters. The Bears also saw continued improvement across the sprint and hurdle groups, highlighted by a personal-record effort from Cheria Galbreath in the 60-meter hurdles.
• Missouri State's middle-distance unit delivered another podium performance behind Abby Meyer, who posted a personal-record time of 2:15.68 to place third in the 800 meters. The Bears also produced multiple personal-best efforts in the mile, led by Emilee Brusselers (5:10.43).
• The distance group continues to build depth after several strong performances in the longer events. Lena Singleton recorded a personal record in the 3,000 meters (10:18.30), while Ella Rew and Addysen Clark highlighted the 5,000 meters with personal-best marks and top-eight finishes.
• In the field events, Shiloh Cross led the Bears with a triple jump victory (11.98m) at Washburn, while Maggie Haase added a top-eight finish in the high jump.
