Fumiya Shiraishi has been named the American Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. This is his second time earning the honor and comes after he scored two fantastic goals in MSU's 3-1 win against Penn State on September 1. Shiraishi has scored or assisted 7-of-8 goals scored by the Bears this season. He is also ranked first in the NCAA Division 1 goals per game (1.50).

Harry Jolley also earned an Honorable Mention for his efforts in defense, controlling both games this week and leading the team from the back of the field.
The Missouri State Bears' next game is at home against Temple in the American Conference opener at Betty & Bobby Allison South Stadium on Friday, Sept. 12, at 7:00 p.m. Admission to all home games is free all season.
