American Conference Men's Soccer Weekly Awards
IRVING, Texas - Missouri State men's soccer senior
Fumiya Shiraishi has been named the American Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. This is his third time (second week in a row) earning the honor and comes after he scored two brilliant goals in MSU's 4-0 win against Temple in their American Conference Opener on September 12.
Shiraishi is the first Bear in MSU history to win offensive weekly conference honors three times in a single season. Shiraishi has also scored or assisted 9-of-12 goals scored by the Bears this season. He is ranked first in the NCAA Division 1 goals per game (1.60) and points per game (3.60).
