Four STUNT Bears Named to CSCA All-American Teams

May 21, 2025

SPRINGFIELD - Four members of the inaugural Missouri State STUNT team were named All-Americans by the College STUNT Coaches Association on Wednesday.

Peighton Powell was named a first-team All-American, while teammates Kaybrie Sharp and Tylee Parrish were each named to the All-American second team. Autumn Speckhart was named an All-American Honorable Mention.

Powell (Rogersville, Mo.) is the first STUNT Bear to be named to the All-American first team. She scored a season-high power rating of 43 points against Missouri Valley College on Feb 28 and also put up 42 points against Northern Kentucky on March 15 and Central Arkansas on April 4 during the Mid America West Conference Tournament. Powell was named to the Mid America West Tournament second team.

Sharp (Grove, Okla.) earned second-team honors as a freshman after also scoring 42 points in the games against Northern Kentucky and Central Arkansas. She also had 41 points against Missouri Valley College in what was the team's second-ever win.

Parrish (Vinita, Okla.) also made the All-America second team off of her 43-point performance in the MAWC Tournament against Central Arkansas and a power rating of 40 points against Northern Kentucky on March 15.

Speckhart (Quincy, Ill.) became the first Missouri State STUNT All-American Honorable Mention thanks to big performances late in the season. Speckhart scored a team-high 46 points in the Bears' win over Central Arkansas in the MAWC Tournament. She also scored 40 points against Northern Kentucky twice, including in the Music City STUNT Classic in Missouri State's final regular season tournament.

All CSCA All-American nominees must have participated in all four quarters of competition (Partner Stunts, Pyramids & Tosses, Jumps & Tumbling and Team Routine), played in at least 50% of their team's games and be a vital component to their team's success and have that shown by their routines.

Missouri State STUNT went 9-18 in its first season as a program, including a 3-5 regular season conference record under head coach Kennedy Wingbermuehle. The Bears defeated previous national championship participant Central Arkansas, 21-1, at the Mid America West Conference Tournament.
