
Women's Golf Set to Host at Ozarks National

The Missouri State women's golf team will welcome 12 other teams this week for their annual Ozarks National Invitational in Hollister, Mo. The host venue is the spectacular Ozarks National Golf Course, which is the third-ranked course in Missouri and is no. 33 on the list of Greatest Public Courses in America by Golf Digest.
The tournament is scheduled for 10 a.m. shotgun starts Monday and Tuesday (Mar. 24-25), and a 9 a.m. start for Wednesday's final round. Ozarks National, designed by the renowned architect team of Coore and Crenshaw, will play to a par of 72 at 6,047 yards for the tournament.
Oral Roberts was the champion a year ago, while MSU finished fifth in the 13-team field. South Dakota is the top returning finisher from last year as the Coyotes finished third a year after winning the tournament.
Junior Kiser Pannier was the Bears' top finisher last year, tying for ninth, and will be joined in this year's lineup by senior Helena Bel, and sophomores Coyee Zhang, Tierney Baumstark and Kyleigh Pfitzner. Freshmen Marlee Edgeman, Tori Gardner and Siena Minor will compete for MSU as individuals.
