Final Results
SUGAR LAND, Texas -- Missouri State women's golf slipped to ninth place on the final day of the Riverbend Intercollegiate here Tuesday, finishing with rounds of 305-308-312--925 in the 15-team field.
The Bears racked up 110 par rounds during the event's 54 holes on the par-72 course which was bested only by Houston's 113.
MoState was led by
Tierney Baumstark (75-79-73--227) who finished tied for 18th in the field of 82 players.
Kyleigh Pfitzner (78-74-79--231) and
Kiser Pannier (74-80-80--234) pushed the Bears with individual finishes of 31st and 36th, respectively.
The individual champion was Houston's Moa Svedenskiold (70-67-69--206) who outdistanced Ryann Honea from Abilene Christian (69-69-73-211) by five strokes for the title.
Houston (-6) won top team honors, beating out Abilene Christian by 33 strokes. Tarleton State and New Mexico State tied for third, 45 strokes off the lead.
The Bears will have two weeks to prepare for their next home meet, March 24-26 at the Ozarks National Invitational in Hollister, Mo.
