DALLAS - Missouri State STUNT opened its inaugural season with its first day of competition Friday afternoon in a tournament hosted by Dallas Baptist University. The Bears were swept in both their games, falling to top-ranked Division II squad Oklahoma Baptist and the No. 1 Division I team, California Baptist, at Burg Center.
"It was really exciting to finally get on the mat for the first time," head coach
Kennedy Wingbermuehle said. "The team was nervous at first, but quickly recovered and played two really good games. We knew these first games would be tough playing the 2024 DI and DII national champions, but I am proud of the games they played today. We are looking forward to playing two more tough games tomorrow and seeing where we can improve for every level."
