DALLAS -- Missouri State received eight postseason player honors on Thursday (Dec. 4) with Conference USA's announcement of its annual football awards, as voted on exclusively by the league's 12 head coaches.

Jacob Clark (QB, Sr., Rockwall, Texas)Â
Clark was a two-time Manning Award National QB of the Week (9/10/25 and 11/19/25) this season and two-time Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week (10/27/25 and 11/17/25). He was also named as the Frisco Bowl National Offensive Player of the Week (11/18/25) and as a four-time Campbell Trophy Tyler Rose Award honorable mention recipient (9/9/25, 9/23/25, 11/11/25, 11/18/25). He ranks 15th nationally in passing yards per game (263.2); 18th in passing touchdowns (24); 21st in yards per pass attempt (8.5); and 24th in pass efficiency (162.8). Clark is also the Missouri State career leader in pass efficiency (162.8), passing touchdowns (60) and 200-yard passing games (21). He currently leads CUSA in touchdown passes (24) and ranks second in passing yards per game (263.2); pass efficiency (153.2); pass completions (222); and total offense (263.9). CUSA coaches voted him as an honorable mention selection.
Shomari Lawrence (RB, Sr., Pompano Beach, Fla.)
Lawrence has made the most of his only season at Missouri State, racking up 100+ rushing yards in three of last five conference games, including a season-high 173 rushing yards at Kennesaw State (11/22/25). He also logged 14 carries for 104 yards and a pair of touchdowns in he home win over FIU (10/29/25) and racked up 109 yards on 25 carries in the home win over UTEP (11/15/25) with a TD. Lawrence closed out the regular season with 84 yards on 13 carries vs. LA Tech (11/29/25), including a 56-yard TD run. He currently ranks fourth in CUSA in rushing average (94.5); fifth in overall rushing yards per game (80.3); seventh in all-purpose yards (88.8); 11th in touchdowns (7); and 11th in points (42). He received second-team All-CUSA distinction.Â
Dash Luke (WR/PR, Sr., New Orleans, La.)
Luke has been one of the MSU's top receivers this season, but earns conference honors as a punt returner where he averaged 8.6 yards per return this season, including a long of 22 at Liberty (11/8/25). Offensively, he ranks second on the team with 36 receptions and 471 yards, including career-highs 9 receptions, 110 yards and a TD in the home win over UT Martin (9/20/25). He also logged 5 receptions for 53 yards at Kennesaw State (11/22/25); 5 receptions for 80 yards and a TD vs. SMU (9/13/25). His season also has included 785 all-purpose yards (65.4 per game) and a 17.5 kickoff return average. He was named to the All-CUSA second team.
Erick Cade (OL, Sr., Denton, Texas)
Cade started all 12 games at right tackle with 803 total snaps on the offensive line this season. According to PFF, he is the third-highest-graded offensive tackle in Conference USA with a 69.6 season grade while boasting an average coaching grade of 87.0% this season. PFF also rated Cade with a 76.9 pass block grade for the season and credited him with 29 "++" run blocking snaps. He was instrumental in the Bears averaging 391.8 yards of total offense per game and 6.0 yards per play in their first FBS season while paving the way for Lawrence's 964 rushing yards and Clark's 2,895 passing yards. He is listed on the All-CUSA honorable mention list.
Jeron Askren (TE, RFr., Wichita, Kan.)
Askren was named Conference USA Freshman Player of the Week (9/8/25) after securing game-winning TD at Marshall in MSU's first-ever win as an FBS program. He also had 5 receptions for 35 yards and a TD in the win at New Mexico State (10/22/25) and logged 3 TD catches over the last 3 CUSA games of season, a pair of touchdown grabs in the home win over UTEP (11/15/25). He is listed on the All-CUSA honorable mention list.
Yousef Obeid (K, So., Dearborn, Mich.)
Obeid made 23 consecutive extra points to end the season and led the Bears in scoring (77) for a second year in a row with the eighth-highest scoring total ever by a Bears kicker. He finished the regular season 35-of-36 (.972) on extra points and converted 14-of-22 field goals on season, tied for fifth most in a season in team history. Obeid went 3-for-4 on field goals vs. WKU (9/27/25) and 3-for-4 in the win at Middle Tennessee (10/8/25) with 10 points in each contest. He also kicked a season-long 49-yard field goal vs. WKU and logged 23 touchbacks on 53 kickoff attempts. He is listed on the All-CUSA honorable mention list.
Dezmond Barnes (DL, Fr., Millbrook, Ala.)
One of two Bears included on the CUSA All-Freshman Team, Barnes played a significant role in MSU's d-line depth this season as part of a defense that logged nine straight games allowing less than 30 points. Barnes had a season-high 2 tackles at Kennesaw State (11/22/25) with a sack and tackle for loss while playing in all four November games down the stretch.
Mitch Weisenborn (LS, Fr., St. Peters, Mo.)
The freshman long snapper was also named to the CUSA All-Freshman Team. He was MSU's snapper for all punt plays this season and was perfect on 55 punt snaps this season. He led the team with 3 tackles on punt plays, all solos, during the 2025 regular season and also recovered a muffed punt that set up a touchdown for the Bears in the home win over FIU (10/29/25). He also notched 2 solo tackles in the home opener vs. SMU (9/13/25) and posted a solo tackle in the comeback win at Liberty (11/8/25).Â
