SPRINGFIELD -- Bears football head coach
Casey Woods has announced plans for his team's "First Look" event to conclude spring drills on Saturday, April 18 at Robert W. Plaster Stadium.
The open practice will begin at 9 a.m., weather permitting, with the Bears going through drills, team and position workouts to wrap the spring and prepare for the upcoming campaign. Gates open at 8:30 a.m.
Admission for the event is FREE with seating available on the lower, west side of the stadium. Basic stadium amenities will be available only in that portion of the stadium, including restrooms and soft drink sales. Parking will also be free in the lots across Grand St. from Plaster Stadium, as well as BearPark South parking garage.
Ticket representatives will also be on site to secure season ticket reservations with a special "First Look Day" fee waiver discount.
Players and coaching staff will be available after the session to meet with fans and families.
Woods and his staff have 61 returning players in camp this spring in addition to 27 newcomers. He inherits an upstart Missouri State program that finished 7-6 overall and 5-3 in CUSA in its first season at the FBS level in 2025 while earning a berth in the inaugural XBox Bowl in Frisco, Texas.
