Clark vs UTEP

Clark Named CUSA Offensive Player of the Week

November 17, 2025

DALLAS – Missouri State quarterback Jacob Clark (Sr., Rockwall, Texas) was named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

The Bears signal caller set a program record with 30 pass completions in Saturday's home win over UTEP, completing 30-of-39 tosses for 330 yards with no interceptions and 4 touchdowns. His 76.9 completion percentage was a season high.

While leading the Bears to their fifth straight CUSA victory, Clark completed passes to 10 different receivers and manufactured six scoring drives while helping the Bears rack up 436 yards of total offense and 27 first downs. He also eclipsed 300 passing yards for the 10th time in his career and matched a Bears career record with his 19th career 200-yard passing game.

This week's award marks the second time Clark has been so honored by CUSA this season, also earning Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 27 on the heels of MSU's win at New Mexico State.

The league also honored other weekly award winners Caleb Nix, Jax State (Defense), Christian Pavon, Sam Houston (Special Teams), Roman Gagliano, MTSU (Freshman) and Marshall Jackson, WKU (Offensive Line) on Monday.

Clark has also been named as one of eight Stars of the Week and finalist for this week's Manning Award. The Manning Award was created by the Allstate Sugar Bowl in 2004 to honor the college football accomplishments of Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning. Since 2011, 607 different quarterbacks from 138 schools have been recognized. Sixty-five players have been honored so far in 2025.
