Donations for Football Enhancements Part of University Gift Announcement

November 13, 2025

SPRINGFIELD -- The Missouri State University Foundation announced more than $12.5 million in new gifts during its annual Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday (Nov. 13), including three donations that will impact Bears football.

Three, seven-figure anonymous gifts supporting Missouri State football enhancements were part of Wednesday's Foundation release.

"Today's announcement is a testament to the passion of our Bears supporters," said Director of Athletics Patrick Ransdell. "These gifts are part of our ongoing efforts to grow and improve our football program and enhance the experience of our student-athletes. We are grateful for these donors taking a leadership role in our evolution to a championship program."

Ransdell also noted the tremendous growth and exposure for Missouri State University this year from the transition to Conference USA and the FBS level of football.

"This year has seen unprecedented exposure for the institution and Athletics," Ransdell said. "Missouri State is here to stay, and this is only the beginning. I look forward to more exciting news in the near future."

Head football coach Ryan Beard echoed Ransdell's enthusiasm.

"Our move to the FBS level has given Missouri State University exposure and publicity we couldn't have imagined just a few short years ago," said Beard. "We are so grateful for these initial gifts that will provide a foundation for our future and help us begin addressing the many needs we have to grow and remain competitive."

All of the Missouri State Foundation gifts announced today from individuals and businesses support student scholarships, Missouri State athletics, construction of the university's new Advancement Center and other programs and areas at Missouri State.
