DALLAS – Missouri State women's soccer was well represented in the Conference USA postseason awards, with three Bears earning all-conference recognition following a strong debut season in the league.
Senior forward
Julia Kristensen was named to the All-Conference First Team, while
Abby Hansen and
Maddie Schneiderhahn earned spots on the All-Conference Second Team for their standout performances this fall.
Kristensen led the Bears' attack, finishing the regular season with five goals, three assists and 13 points, leading Missouri State in scoring. The forward appeared in all 17 matches, recording a team-best 35 shots and proving to be a consistent offensive threat placing nearly 49 percent of her shots on target (.486). Her creativity and poise in the attacking third helped the Bears produce key conference results on the road, including a 3-1 victory at Kennesaw State.
Hansen anchored the midfield and was the engine behind Missouri State's possession play. Abby tallied three goals and five assists, ranking second on the team with 11 points. Her distribution and composure were crucial in transition, and her .583 shots-on-goal percentage underscored her efficiency in attack.
On the defensive end, Schneiderhahn earned All-Conference Second Team honors after a standout season anchoring the Bears' back line. The senior started all 17 matches, logging an impressive 1,492 minutes while playing a crucial role in four team shutouts. Her impact was especially felt in scoreless draws against Liberty and Delaware, two of Conference USA's top attacking teams. Schneiderhahn's physical presence, composure, and consistency were key in establishing one of the league's toughest defensive units.
Missouri State concluded the regular season with a 5-8-4 record and a 2-3-3 mark in CUSA play, advancing to the postseason tournament as the eighth seed for the first time as a member of the league and will face top-seeded Western Kentucky in the CUSA Championship quarterfinals on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 3:30 p.m. CT in Lynchburg, Va.
