SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State's Zack Stewart was named an American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings NCAA Division I South All-Region Second Team member Tuesday. The South Region includes 28 schools from Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Missouri.
 
Stewart batted .300 with 21 home runs and 55 RBI his sophomore season as a repeat selection to the all-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team. The outfielder's home run total in 2024 ranks tied for 10^th on MSU's single-season list, while his two-year total of 33 round-trippers is good for 15^th on the Bears' career list. The Lebanon, Mo., native collected 21 multi-hit games for the Bears this season.
