Baker redshirted in 2025 at Gonzaga and will play the 2026 campaign at Cloud County Community College in Kansas. The western Canada native spent two seasons on the nation's U18 National Team and won MVP honors at the Canadian Futures Showcase in 2023, batting .500 with four runs, three RBIs and three stolen bases at the event. Baker also played volleyball and basketball in high school, earning his conference's defensive player of the year award in basketball in 2023.
Â
Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Baker:
"One of the best JUCO athletes in the country, Simon will have a chance to impact games in several different ways as a true two-way talent. Offensively he will be a physical left-handed bat with solid plate discipline skills that has the speed to go play CF. On the mound, he gives us an arm with tremendous upside. Already sitting 90-93 with his fastball with an elite slider, we look forward to him throwing a ton of impactful innings next year."
Â
Adrian Bermudez • 5-9 • 175 • RHP • Miramar, Fla. • West Broward High
Bermudez and has pitched and hit for the West Broward Bobcats his first three seasons, earning the team's two-way player of the year award following both his sophomore and junior years. He pitched 18 innings and struck out 16 with a 2.70 ERA as a freshman, then struck out 32 in 28 innings with a 1.46 ERA his sophomore year in addition to batting .225. As a junior, Bermudez hit .348 and fanned 31 batters in 31 innings with a 2.40 ERA. He is a high school teammate of fellow signee Ethan Lindor.
Â
Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Bermudez:
"Adrian is an undersized but athletic right-handed arm who has competed in one of the top baseball states in the country over his high school career. Adrian is a high tempo pitcher who will fill it up with strikes and not be afraid to attack hitters with his arsenal. Adrian is an arm who can really spin the baseball with his slider as his best pitch, and we look forward to getting him into our development system where we feel like he can make some gains quickly."
Â
Christian Iriotakis • 6-3 • 200 • OF/1B • Toronto, Ontario • St. Michael's College School
Iriotakis has enjoyed success at the high school, club and provincial levels throughout his career. With the Toronto Mets of the Canadian Premier Baseball League, Iriotakis slashed .403/483/.630 on the 15U team, .370/.477/.622 on the 16U team, and .373/492/.697 with the 17U club. He was selected to the Prospect Games his freshman and sophomore seasons and played for Team Ontario at the Canada Games his junior year, batting .500 in the event. His brother plays baseball at William & Mary.
Â
Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Iriotakis:
"One of the top hitters in the whole country of Canada, Christian joins us from the Toronto area where we have had a ton of success adding future Bears. Christian is as pure as it comes from the left side of the plate with the bat and has a frame that is physically ready to play at this level. With added strength, he could become an elite power hitter combined with plate discipline at our level. We see Christian making an immediate impact in our lineup as a run producer who can play both corner outfield and first base."
Â
Ethan Lindor • 5-10 • 170 • OF • Pembroke Pines, Fla. • West Broward High

Â
Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Lindor:
"Ethan is an extremely athletic outfielder that has the ability to impact the game on both the bases and on defense with his speed as a separator. Ethan is a player we see really taking off in our offensive development system where he can be a player who possesses very impactful tools. We look forward to him using his experience playing high level Florida high school baseball to his advantage as a freshman."
Â
Cole Milliken • 5-11 • 180 • IF • Lebanon, Mo. • Lebanon High

Â
Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Milliken:
"No other way to describe Cole other than his pure ability to hit. Someone who is constantly on the barrel as a line drive hitter, Cole can bring a lot to our program as a true bat to ball player. Cole is a local product from Lebanon, Mo., who will fit in nicely as a potential long term utility player who can impact a lineup at any time."
Â
Noah Powell • 5-11 • 180 • RHP • Toronto, Ontario • York Mills Collegiate Institute
Another prospect from the Bears' Canadian recruiting pipeline, Powell helped his high school team to a pair of district titles and two city championships during his four seasons. He also earned a spot on the Canadian Junior National Team each of the last two years.
Â
Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Powell:
"Noah is a very athletic right-handed arm with twitch and plenty of room to grow. He displays a 90-93 mph fastball and has touched 95 over the past year. He combines a sharp slider and a developing changeup with his fastball, and his overall skill set gives Noah a chance to make a huge impact as a freshman arm next year."

He received the same awards as a junior, batting .410 with a .488 OBP, 11 homers and 14 stolen bases.
Â
Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Riordan:
"Nick is an athlete who shows twitch, speed and bat speed on a baseball field all while still having a ton of physical upside. He possesses a smooth left-handed swing with some natural in-game power with more to come, as well as the ability to be the best athlete on the field while playing in the middle of the diamond. Nick is a multi-tool player who we see making an exciting impact as a freshman."Â

"Jett potentially has the best slider in the JUCO market this fall. He will bring a powerful arsenal to us with a frame that has a ton of upside. Jett sits 90-94 and has topped 95 with the fastball, his slider is hard with sweeper action to it, and he also has a developing changeup. We see him slotting into our pitching staff as a rotation arm or high-leverage pitcher out of the bullpen next year."
Â

Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Teltschik:
"Cole is the perfect example of what you want in the catching position. He is a hard-nosed ball player who is already advanced physically to take the toll of being a college catcher. Cole flashes advanced receiving and blocking skills behind the plate and will be a right-handed hitter who will blossom in our offensive development system. We're excited to add Cole's leadership ability into our program."
Â

Brody is one of the fastest rising arms in the state of Missouri with his low slot crossfire fastball that flashes 87-91 and the ability to throw both his breaking ball and changeup for strikes. With Brody's physical frame and strike throwing ability we see him being an exciting arm to build around on our pitching staff."
Â
Kameron Yearsley • 5-10 • 205 • OF/1B • Yorkville, Ill. • Yorkville High/John A. Logan College

Kameron is an exciting athlete we see slotting into our projected outfield or first base positions next year."
