Keeping Track of the Bears

The Missouri State track and field team will kick off the 2024-25 indoor season with a trip to Pittsburg State for the Crimson and Gold Invitational. The Bears will begin competing at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday morning in the 60-meter hurdles.
MoState opened last season at the same meet where they had one top-10 finish and three personal records.
Thirty-four Bears will compete over the weekend with 12 newcomers making their MoState debuts.
Thirty-five teams and more than 1,000 athletes are registered to compete.
The event with the most Bears will be the 400-meter dash with 10 competing.
Missouri State has 19 newcomers on the team this season with 16 freshmen and 3 transfers.
The Bears were picked to finish ninth in the Missouri Valley Conference preseason poll.
Head coach Jordan Fife enters his 11^th year leading the Bears along with assistant coach Taryn Smiley entering her fifth year and assistant coach Bryan Mack entering his third year.
