TULSA, Okla. – The Missouri State women's soccer team remains unbeaten after a 3-1 road win over Tulsa on Sunday to continue the team's best-ever start.
The Bears (4-0-2) matched their season high with three goals against the Golden Hurricane. In the ninth minute, Hailey Chambliss scored her first goal of the season and put the Bears on the board with an assist from Julia Kristensen.

Tulsa outshot MSU 17 to 9, but Missouri State goalkeeper Camielle Day came to work ready to perform. She notched five saves and stopped all but one of the Golden Hurricane shots on goal.
Missouri State tallied five shots on goal for the evening.
"This was a great road win against a very good Tulsa side," head coach Kirk Nelson said. "This game really challenged us as we had to make multiple adjustments on the fly to get the result. The team adapted well and I'm extremely impressed with their execution. We're excited for our last week of nonconference."
The Bears are back at home on Thursday to face Lindenwood at 7:00 p.m. for Local Club Night. Admission to all home matches is free this season.
