ST. LOUIS – Missouri State women's soccer player
Camielle Day has earned her second player of the week award from the Missouri Valley Conference, the league announced Wednesday.
Day recorded her fourth shutout of the year and seven saves when the Bears opened conference play against Murray State on Monday. Nationally, Day is tied for 32nd in shutouts.
The senior from Dardenne Prairie, Mo. earned her first valley honor back on Aug. 29.
The Bears are back at home on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. to take on Illinois State for Sporting KC night. Admission is free at all women's soccer home games. The game will air on ESPN+ with live stats also available.
