The Missouri State women's soccer team opens its 2023 home slate Sunday with a mid-morning face-off against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls. 

The Bears started their season on a high note with a 2-0 win over SIUE on Thursday. 

The teams will face each other at 11 a.m. on Sunday at Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium. The game was moved from 1 p.m. to 11 a.m. due to extremely high forecasted temperatures. Admission is free to all home women's soccer games.

• The Bears' most recent win over Oklahoma State was a 4-0 shutout in 1999.
• Both Bears wins in the series have been at home.
• The Bears and Cowgirls are both coming off big wins to start their seasons.
• Julia Kristensen scored her first goal as a Bear off an assist from Grace O'Keefe against SIUE. Her goal secured the win for Missouri State.
• Kaeli Benedict secured the Bears first goal of the season late in the first half off an assist from Iraia Arrue against SIUE.
