JONESBORO, Ark. -- Missouri State sits in 11th place after 36 holes Monday at the Lady Red Wolves Classic here, played at Sage Meadows Golf Club.

The Bears had rounds of 302 and 300 on the first day of competition to trail tourney host and overall leader Arkansas State by 27 strokes with one round to play in the 16-team field.

Freshman Tierney Baumstark (74-75--149) leads Missouri State's group and is tied for 20th place in the field of 95 players with 18 holes remaining. 

Fellow Bear Johanna Wollenhaupt (79-71--150) is also in the top 30, just one stroke behind Baumstark in 28th place.
